Data

Comprehension of relational database concepts, experience with MS SQL Server. Familiar with statistics and statistical software including Minitab and SPSS. Experienced Excel user. Exposure to database normalization concepts, data mining algorithms.

SQL

Ability to retrieve, sort, filter, summarize, group, and update data. Can create calculated fields, work with views and stored procedures, use data manipulation functions, impose constraints, and create, manipulate, and join tables. Exposure to transaction processing, triggers, and cursors.

Programming

Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. Completed coursework in Java. Experience with version control and Git.

Experienced diagnostician and troubleshooter. Self-motivated, fast learner, eager to learn new skills. Organized, detail-oriented.

Projects

CO2 Emissions

How do carbon dioxide emissions vary among vehicle classes? This project answers that question using SQL and Python with publicly available fuel economy data.

Exam Timer

About Me

I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems in June 2018. I have a passion for statistics, SQL, and data analytics, and I'm excited to apply these skills in a professional environment. I have some background in programming and I welcome opportunities to integrate application development with my data analytics skill set. I've always had an interest in technical work. I've worked as an auto mechanic and I'm an ASE certified Master Technician and formerly licensed CA smog technician. When I'm not at my computer learning new skills, you can find me with tools in hand, working on home renovation projects, building a sprinkler system that can be controlled from a mobile app, or fixing anything that happens to break around the house.
